We are now offering 3-Dimensional ultrasound picture of your baby while it is still in the womb. The optimal time to obtain your baby's first picture would be between 28 and 32 weeks, when we can generally get the best facial images.
Picture quality varies and relies on numerous factors, such as:
the position of the baby.
the amount of amniotic fluid (the more the better).
the amount of tissue between the probe and the baby.
This is intended solely for your enjoyment. It is not to be considered a diagnostic ultrasound looking for pregnancy complications, or abnormalities of your anatomy, or that of the baby's. Insurance companies will not pay for this ultrasound.
